REGISTRATION

Our programming includes two fall leagues (Classic Travel and House), one spring league (Pine Tree) and summer camp opportunities. Descriptions and registration details below.

Fall Classic Travel League

The heart of CESC is the Fall Classic Travel League.  This is our traditional offering for the fall season and is open to Cape residents from U9 through U14.  Players must be 8 years old by July 31 to register.  The season begins in mid-August and concludes in late October with playoffs for U12-U14 teams and festivals for U9 -U11.  Teams typically practice twice a week, play a six game league schedule against other Maine town teams (typically in southern Maine) , and participate in a tournament over the Indigenous People’s Day holiday weekend.  Coaches often also schedule additional friendlies to provide more playing opportunities.

Registration for the Fall 2024 season will begin on May 1 and close on May 21st.  The registration fee is $175 and uniforms are an additional $15 (although kids can use their same uniforms from last year).  Please note that we may extend the registration period for some teams and age groups, but that is not guaranteed, and that late registrations, when allowed, are subject to late fees.

Although we work hard to make soccer affordable for everyone, we recognize that some families may need financial assistance.  If you need help with the cost of registration and uniforms, please reach out at capesoccer@gmail.com

For more information, please see our FAQs. Lastly, we always need parent coaches and managers and we are happy to chat to discuss!

House League

Cape Elizabeth Soccer Club House League presents an exciting opportunity for kids to develop a passion for soccer. The House League is open to all students in Grades K through 6, providing a wonderful chance for young athletes to play on a team and enhance their soccer skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere, without the commitment of travel.

Teams will be formed based on gender and grade levels, with each team participating in one practice per week and a game on Saturdays at the Cape fields.

For those in Grades K through 2, this league is a perfect way to begin playing on an organized soccer team before they qualify for travel soccer in 3rd grade.

For families with children in Grades 3 through 6, this program offers a fantastic option for players or families who may not be ready for the full commitment of the travel program but still wish to join an organized soccer team.

The program cost is $65 and includes your child's team uniform. Each team will compete in a 7-game season, starting on September 6th (after Labor Day weekend) and concluding on October 25th, with no games scheduled for Indigenous Peoples Day weekend.

Pine Tree League

The Pine Tree League is a less formal league than the Fall Classic that takes place in the Spring. Teams will play 6 games, typically 3 home and 3 away. Some coaches will run practices, but most do not. This is a fun way to keep skills fresh in the off-season. The first game is usually the weekend after April vacation.

Summer Camps

There are 2 opportunities to get those touches on the ball in the summer:

Seacoast United Skills Soccer Camp

Registration for this camp is via Cape Community Services in early April. Families can choose between half and full day programs. Sessions take place in late July/ early August.

Cape High School Coaches and Players

Offered for a week in mid-August this camp is a fantastic way to get acquainted with, and be involved in, the Cape Soccer community. The players will get a couple of evenings on the Hannford Turf and a couple of evenings on the adjacent grass fields. Families will be notified in late June/ early July when registration (via your Got Sport login) is open. All proceeds benefit the High School Booster Clubs!

For 2024 camp will take place August 19-22, from 6-7:30 pm.
