Coaches
Thank you for your interest in coaching! CESC depends upon parents and community members to volunteer their time to create positive experiences for our youth. Please consider joining us as an assistant coach, team manager, or head coach. We can provide training and support for every level.
To apply to volunteer as a coach, assistant coach or team manager, you need to complete a short application.
We know coaching spans from finding spare soccer socks to helping shape exceptional human beings, and everything in between. While we can’t provide resources for every aspect, we hope the following resources will be a start to help you feel comfortable coaching and part of a team of volunteer coaches in your community.
Here are a few resources regarding the broader strokes of our program:
Code of Conduct. We encourage all coaches to print this out and have a discussion with your team early on, in the first week of practice, if not the first day. And to check in mid-season as well.
Jamie Higgins Award. An annual club award given out for sportsmanship at the U14 level.

Click on the appropriate team/seaon
Rosters from the next pop-up box
“Select Event Roser” and choose appropriate year and league, followed by search
On subsequent page, choose documents and ID’s sub tab
“Roster PDF” will bring up your frozen roster with SoccerMaine signature for printing
